Welcome to the April 2017 issue of Queen Size Magazine. As you all know, April is Autism Awareness Month. Did you know that Autism now affects 1 in 68 children and 1 in 42 boys? And that boys are nearly five times more likely than girls to have autism? Most of us have never had to deal with children with Autism, therefore we cannot relate to what they go through or what their mom goes through either. Our cover model, Serenity, has a son that fell into those statistics. She speaks out on her experiences as an Autism mom and how they are breaking barriers. Be sure to check out her story and in-depth interview inside.
Speaking of children, we also have an exclusive interview with Jessica Toussaint who is the Founder and President of Bridge to Promise Inc., a growing youth development organization focused on providing programs and services that positively addresses the physical, mental and emotional aspects of a young person.
