Did you know? Our principal is also the President of the Board of Di Directors for the community group, Voice of English Speaking Quebec (VEQ). This allows him to have his finger on the pulse of what is going on in our community. Our students also benefit from various community projects and volunteering opportunities with the VEQ. Each year the QHS Alumni Foundation donates between 25-35 thousand dollars in extra dolla funding to help cover costs of various projects, equipment and supplies to enhance student learning. Quebec High School has been successful at attracting great teachers from all corners of Canada and from around the world. In 2014 we had a staff member from each province! With the recent retirement of Doug Williams we lost our Manitoba representative. Our Alberta and Saskatchewan teachers moved on to other schools in our school board. board. This event is an important fund raising activity and the QHS administration would like to thank all Alumni members who support the organizing committee. Steve was born in Dubuque, Iowa and is on his 35th year at QHS. Maarten Buyck grew up in Belgium before moving to Canada.
