2016 BOOT CAMP – ALBUQUERQUE, OCTOBER 10 - 14

The annual Boot Camp continues to be in high demand! When the training committee met in June, there were already close to thirty participants who had requested to participate in this year’s Boot Camp. That is phenomenal! These individuals have been given the opportunity to formally register for the training by July 25th and then the registration will be opened up to all other interested parties.

Once we have finalized the schedule and trainers, each participant will have access to the PowerPoints and materials that will be used during the Boot Camp. Though this is a very busy time of the year for you, having the materials ahead of schedule will give participants the opportunity to quickly browse the materials to identify which areas they have the most difficulty with and prepare their questions ahead of time to ensure they get the most they can from the training. It also gives participants time to think about challenges they have faced and found solutions for that they can share with other participants. It is this networking and sharing of ideas that bring the most success to the Boot Camp. What a great opportunity that will be!

Though the 2016 Boot Camp will be in pretty much the same format as in the past, the training committee is continually making those changes that are requested through participant surveys. For example, we will move trainings provided during the evening meal to the noon meal to slightly shorten the day for participants. Additionally, we will reserve Thursday night for test preparation time so that participants will have time to review the material from the week and be prepared for the test on Friday morning. This year, we also hope to add a session on STARs that will focus on the accuracy of the reporting and the impact that accuracy has on revenue.

Can’t wait to meet each one of you! See you in October!
