Early 2018, they landed second at the Black Umbrellas Awards as brand ambassadors. “We were also the overall winners at the annual Eskom Business Investment Competition (BIC) Awards. The award included some form of investment and this year we will be part of one of their programmes. I believe this will help us grow even further,” he adds. “We run an internship programme in partnership with the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA). We have two interns at the moment. The intention is to retain them in the business.” He is also part of an organisation called 1000’s Men: It brings together male entrepreneurs to come together and build sustainable businesses.
