MARKETS MARKETS Sandvik showcased its compact QH331 track-mounted cone crusher at CQMS in Ireland in April. The QH331 features the Sandvik CH430 Hydrocone crusher on a tracked chassis with a choice of six different crushing chambers and a variety of bush settings. The CH430 cone’s longer, steeper crushing chamber keeps the material in the chamber for longer, optimising reduction and providing a superior product shape. The CH430’s hydroset CSS regulation system allows CSS adjustment via the main control panel while crushing and the automatic setting regulation system optimises production and keeps track of liner wear to minimise interruptions and downtime. US-based Superior Industries has added a new secondary model to its line of Exterra belt cleaners. Designed for straightforward, quick conveyor installations, the Exterra Secondary Belt Cleaner made its debut at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017. Segmented into 75mm urethane chunks with tungsten carbide tops, the belt cleaner’s blade is engineered for long life and efficient material shedding. Superior’s design allows the blade segments to individually conform to the belt for effective cleaning. Additionally, the cleaner’s blade angle is adjustable to accommodate mechanical and vulcanized splices. The Exterra Secondary Belt Cleaner is designed for belt widths of 457mm to 1 828mm and belt speeds up to 5.1m/sec. BMG’s new portable SPM Leonova Diamond Aligner system is designed for quick and reliable shaft alignment in many applications, including compressors, gearboxes, generators and pumps. The dual laser system, suitable for most combinations of machinery and coupled or uncoupled shafts, incorporates advanced digital technology with alignment sensors that communicate with the instrument via Bluetooth. The complete kit comprises the control and display instrument, alignment sensors, aluminium brackets, extendable chains up to 480mm diameter shafts, rods, cables and a tape measure – all packed in a portable case. The heavy- duty Leonova Diamond Aligner, with a carbon-fibre reinforced IP 65 rated enclosure, has been drop tested to 1m. QUARRY SA | MAY 2017 _ 37
