Johan van Wyk , recently appointed director of the Southern Africa Readymix Association , shares his thoughts on the ready-mix industry and the direction of the construction industry for 2017 .
Johan van Wyk was recently appointed to the post of director of the Southern Africa Readymix Association ( Sarma ), having previously been general manager of the association . He takes over from Nico Pienaar , director of the Aggregate and Sand Producers Association of Southern Africa
( Aspasa ). In December 2016 , Van Wyk was named the Concrete Society of Southern Africa ’ s Inland Branch Concrete Achiever of the Year .
