In addition to family services, SLP collaborates with different schools in the area to support their mission of educating both military and civilian students. SLP also works closely with the Virginia Department of Education to improve policies affecting the education and graduation rates of incoming military students. The Quantico School Liaison Program services families with students attending Quantico Base schools, Fredericksburg City, Spotsylvania County, Stafford County, and Prince William County. Partners in Education (PIE) - Volunteer Opportunities The PIE Program is an initiative that enhances the connections between the military, schools, and the civilian community, and helps military children/youth succeed in school, be better prepared for the future, and fit in their local community.
