Coming from Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California, Chief Warrant Officer
2 Terri L. Behrends is a 0170 Personnel Officer with Headquarters and Service Battalion,
Installation Personnel Administration Center. Originally from Victorville, California she
joined the Marine Corps in 2002 and has been stationed in MCAS Miramar from 2002
to 2007, MCB Camp Pendleton from 2007 to 2010, MCAS Yuma from 2010 to 2013,
and MCB Camp Butler Okinawa from 2014 to 2017. She has always been an avid runner,
competing in varsity cross-country and track all four years during high school. While
stationed in Okinawa, she competed in obstacle races, and mud runs where she always
placed in the overall women’s category. She further took part in a few triathlons, and
two marathons in Okinawa. This is her first time competing in the HITT Championship.
