CAPTAIN BILLY VANVIANEN
CAMP LEJEUNE
Captain Billy VanVianen was born in Detroit, Michigan. He entered the Marine Corps
in 2005 and attended Boot Camp at Marine Corps Recruit Training Parris Island, SC.
He attained the rank on Staff Sergeant before heading to Officer Candidate Course
in 2012. A logistics officer, Capt VanVianen has served with CLB26 and is currently
with 2d Medical Bn, 2d MLG in Camp Lejeune. He ran the 1000m race in college and
was a member of the All-Marine Running Team in 2008 and 2009. This is his first time
competing in the HITT Championship.
