HITT CHAMPIONSHIP
Held this year aboard MCB Quantico, the 5th Annual HITT Championship
features 33 of the Marine Corps’ best warrior athletes, representing every
major installation. These exceptional Marines will be faced with seven unique
challenges across four days of intense physical and tactical competition.
Partnered with West Virginia University, the 2019 HITT Championship will feature
a biometric study of the competitors. The intent of the study is to identify physical
and cognitive predictors of a Marine’s performance through the use of intense
physical activity, biomonitoring technology, and other cognitive and motor skill
evaluations.
The biomonitoring technology will include:
• Questionnaires
• Force Plate Assessments
• Heart Rate Variability and VO2 Max Tracking
• Accelerometers
• Sleep Tracking
• Cognitive Games
• Weapons Simulators
