FIRST LIEUTENANT MARY
BUXTON, MCB HAWAII
Coming from Kaneohe Bay, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, First Lieutenant Mary Buxton is
a 0102 Manpower Officer with Combat Logistics Battalion III. Originally from Prattville,
Alabama she joined the Marine Corps in 2017. Following Officer Candidates School,
Force Fitness Instructor Course, The Basic School in Quantico, VA and Basic Manpower
Officer Course in Camp Johnson, NC, she has been stationed in Marine Corps Base
Hawaii since June, 2018. Before joining the Marine Corps, she was a collegiate
gymnast at the University of Alabama from 2014-2017, winning two South Eastern
Conference Championships with her team. This is her first time competing in the HITT
Championship.
