MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD & CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH
April is designated as the Month of the Military Child; a time to honor the sacrifices made
by the military families worldwide, with an emphasis on the experience of the dependent
children of military members serving at home and overseas. See page 14, 15 & 17 for details.
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
This is the time of year when the weather can be unpredictable. Make sure you have a plan
and are prepared for natural disasters like snow, high winds, floods and earthquakes.
