Invisalign Braces for Adults

The Invisalign Braces have trays that have been specifically created with each individual
patient in mind. The system in which your trays are placed will be determined by the
Quad Dental professional at your consultation appointment. During your treatment, the
trays will require adjusting in order to align each tooth that is a target for readjustment.
Once the trays have been placed in their initial position, they will gradually shift the teeth
into proper position. Each adjustment session lasts about two weeks.
The Invisalign system is a patented thermoplastic design that works to realign and modify
the teeth through a combination of tray positioning and measured force. The application
and timing of the force is controlled by the placement of the Invisalign trays. When you
consult with the Quad Dental professional, he or she will make the correct determination
as to what these movements will be according to your individualized treatment plan.
How long you must wear the Invisalign braces is completely dependent on the extent of
your orthodontic issue. However, the average adult will wear Invisalign braces for about
twelve months.
