S pecialist s from five Scot t ish
universities have launched a website
which, for the first time, shares
pioneering 2D video of tongue
movements inside the mouth
during speech. The ultrasound
tongue imaging (UTI) and
magnetic resonance imaging
(MRI) videos will provide an
invaluable new resource for
teachers and students of
practical phonetics.
