Qatar is getting famous by being referred to as “The richest country on earth” by the magazine Business Insider, which claims that it’s population is either the most wealthy or the second one of all the world. It is not a secret that what makes rich this country is oil and the clever minds of the Qataris.

Qatar with a very reduced population of only 850,000 to 1.7 million achieved to be above Luxembourg for the World´s highest Gross Domestic Product per capita, according to the magazine Arabian Business. With Data from the International Monetary Fund, was found that Qatari’s GDP per capita ($88,221) and it is expected to rise to $111,963 by 2016

With a smaller country than a state of the USA (Connecticut), Qataris hold the World’s the third largest natural gas reserves which allows the country to have a government that redistributes money from its resources to citizens, gives them free electricity and a good health care.
