DROWNING
One minute and I am standing on dry land and the next I am gasping for air underwater
I felt my lungs squeeze together by the pressure,
I was choking and gagging on the salt water that flowed into my mouth,
My ears were pounding and I could no longer hear anything other than the roaring waves,
My heart was beating as fast as a race car,
Treading the water made my arms and legs numb,
I decided to give up and accept my fate,
As my stomach was being filled with water I started to sink like a anchor,
And that is when it happened the tremendous fear became beautify chaotic
As I sank I looked of and admired the sun’s bouncing reflection on the glistening water
I had a beautiful chime that sounded like a harp
The ocean who had once been angered by me had welcomed me with,
A Wondrous sight,
Limitless knowledge,
Mysterious creatures,
And soothing song
Deeper and deeper I sank into the vast waters,
And the endless depths,
My body loosened up and the pressure had disappeared,
The ocean is pure and honest,
She took me in and spoke to me her truths,
She took my pain away,
She had calmed me,
I embraced drowning.
