HMC is committed to continually increasing the
quality of care delivered across its network. Over the
past decade, HMC has sought and achieved
accreditation from leading international organisations,
which formally recognise HMC’s ability to deliver
high standards of patient care.
In early 2016, HMC achieved the significant
distinction of becoming the first healthcare system
in the world to have all its hospitals accredited by
Joint Commission International under the Academic
Medical Centre accreditation programme. The
National Ambulance Service, Home Healthcare
Service, Stroke Service and Palliative Care have all
received this prestigious accreditation since 2011.
