Renowned footballer Samuel Eto ’ o is a Global Qatar Legacy Ambassador , and has been ensuring that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ leaves a lasting impact . Eto ’ o has been involved in a range of special legacy projects , including ones that are aimed at improving workers ’ welfare and offering education to children from displaced communities . Reflecting on his work , he emphasises the satisfaction it gives him to know the difference he is making through the sport he loves , “ hence why I joined the Ambassador Programme ,” he explains .
