Lusail Stadium stands proudly as a state-of-the-art structure at the centre of Lusail City , the largest of the eight FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ stadiums .
Its façade has been inspired by the decorative motifs that frequently adorn bowls and art pieces in the Arab and Islamic world . Adding to this , the design features an interplay between light and shadow that is reminiscent of fanar lanterns .
