Sustainability at the heart of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™
Q Life spoke to Mohammed Al Atwaan , Project Manager of 974 Stadium , to talk about his experience working on the first deconstructable tournament venue in the history of the FIFA World Cup .
When asked about what he enjoyed the most while working on Stadium 974 , Al Atwaan emphasised that the stadium is a “ symbol of innovation and sustainability .” He praised the sustainable structure of the stadium that will allow it to be dismantled and repurposed after the tournament and hopes that it becomes the “ blueprint for stadium construction in the future .”
