The design for the stadium takes inspiration from the natural environment where it was built , with sand dune-shaped structures surrounding the stadium . These natural elements can also be found in Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium ’ s façade , which is comprised of patterns characterising different aspects of the country and its people .
