Spring continues to be a busy time for the golf industry as we start to enjoy longer days and more opportunity to play and participate in the game we love .
This October , golf facilities across Australia will throw open their doors for Golf Month . This year , Golf Month focuses on inspiring our great game ’ s strongest advocates – club members and passionate golfers – to share the golf bug with friends and family .
Golf Month is open to everyone : those who have never hit a ball , those who haven ’ t done so for ages , those who need a little help to increase frequency of their participation or those who are on the course every week .
There is the opportunity for golf enthusiasts of all ages and abilities to benefit from great offers and activities . And for club members who introduce a new member , you could win the ultimate golf bug adventure to Barnbougle , Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes thanks to Air Adventure Golf Tours . I encourage you all to share the golf bug this year !
Spring also sees the play of Queensland ’ s biggest golf tournament – the Isuzu Queensland Open .
Once again , the Championship will be contested at The Brisbane Golf Club from 26-29 October .

We welcome all amateur golfers who have qualified for the Open through events such as the Keperra Bowl , Men ’ s Stroke Play , Men ’ s Queensland Amateur Championships and Queensland ’ s Boy ’ s Amateur Championship . We wish the whole Isuzu Queensland Open field the very best of luck this year .
Spring is a big season for golf and I encourage you all to participate and get into golf over the next few months .
