costume contest. The two-hour event saw its fair share of strikes, gutter balls, and friendly banter, but by 8:00 pm, only one team was left standing. Congratulations to Specialty Piping Materials for taking 1st place in the tournament! However, we can’t forget AIV’s outstanding attire that earned them the title of best costume. Whether the final score was high or low, it was clear everyone had a great time. Most importantly, a significant amount of scholarship money was raised, which is the biggest win of all!
In August, the PVF YP’s teamed up with the Young Pipeline Professionals USA for a joint Happy Hour at Verde Gardens in Houston. Much like the YP’s, the Young Pipeline Professionals are an organization dedicated to enriching and educating the next generation of oil and gas professionals. Since both groups share a passion for philanthropy, the Happy Hour also served as a clothing drive for the United Way’s Project Undercover.
