108" Mitered Elbow
PVF Roundtable member OK Pipe & Fittings, Inc. has achieved a milestone more than 25 years in the making - fabricating its largest fitting to date. The impressive project, a 108-inch diameter mitered elbow (8-piece, 7-miter), stretched more than 20 feet in length and tipped the scales at over 10,000 pounds.
While the company has the capacity to manufacture even larger fittings, this one stands out as the biggest since their previous record – a 96-inch elbow fabricated for a nuclear power plant several years ago. The new elbow is a testament to the skill, precision, and commitment of the OK Pipe team.
Pictured here are General Manager John Flanigan and QA Inspector Matthew Donley, who oversaw the project from start to finish. Flanigan, who has been with OK Pipe for more than two decades, expressed his pride in the team.

What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is that the fitting was produced entirely from domestic plate, rolled and welded in Texas, making it a truly 100% Made-in-America (M&M USA) product.
