And that move paid off.

As time went on, I moved on — from Maass to other opportunities. And every one of those doors opened because of the PVF Roundtable.

When I got laid off in 2023, it wasn’t family ties that helped land me my first and current inside sales position at Worldwide Pipe & Supply — it was the network I had built through years of showing up, getting involved, and creating meaningful relationships in the PVF community. My first opportunity may have come from my uncle’s support, but everything after that came from my own drive to grow. I had put in the work, and when I needed it most, the community gave it back. That’s something I’ll never forget.

These days, I try to give back however I can. Whether it’s volunteering at events or simply staying active and present, I believe in what the PVF Roundtable represents. I also make a point to connect with the younger generation showing up at these events — because I remember exactly what it felt like to be in their shoes. I share my story when I can, and I always stress the same thing: stay consistent. Show up, be present, build relationships, and never stop learning. The PVF industry rewards those who stick with it — and if my journey proves anything, it’s that the long game works.

I’m just 27 years old now. Still early in my career and still learning every single day. My goal is to never get comfortable — to always keep growing, keep improving, and keep showing up. There’s still so much I don’t know, and that excites me. Because I’m just getting started.
