Expanded our network of schools where we provide scholarship dollars
Alford’s vision of broadening membership to include more EPCs, fabricators, and end users – while maintaining a strong distribution core has laid a solid foundation for future growth.
“I’d like the PVF Roundtable to be the organization our members are proud to display in their offices, through social media, and across tradeshow platforms,” Alford said. “That pride comes from knowing we’re making a real difference.”
Behind every successful PVF event is an extraordinary team of volunteers. “I cannot stress enough how important the volunteers are – none of this would be possible without them,” Alford emphasized. With many of the same dedicated members returning year after year, the Roundtable’s events now run like a “well-oiled machine,” seamlessly blending professionalism with purpose.
While Alford is handing over the reins to Jamie Meade as our new President, she will remain as an active board member and will take on the fundraising chair position.
A New Chapter: Welcoming President Jamie Meade
As PVF Roundtable membership reaches an all-time high – nearly 300 member companies and more than 450 attendees at major networking events – the organization proudly welcomes Jamie Meade of Hawk Valve as its new President.
Meade, a PVF Roundtable member since 2010 and Board Member since 2018, brings nearly two decades of experience in the valve industry. Having served as Board Chair for Fundraising and Events, she’s been instrumental in organizing many of the Roundtable’s most successful gatherings.
“I love that our networking has found an outlet that continues the growth of the PVF community,” Meade shared. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see how our collective efforts directly support the future of our industry.”
Her priorities as President will focus on strengthening member engagement, enhancing collaboration with educational institutions, and forging deeper connections between industry professionals and students who benefit from PVF scholarships.
Looking Ahead: Collaboration and Expansion
In 2026, the PVF Roundtable plans to expand its reach by collaborating with other nonprofit organizations in the industry. Partnerships with groups like ISA and Valve World have already proven successful, offering mutual event access and increased visibility across membership bases.
