COVID-19 DASHBOARD
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic , the Office of Strategic Initiatives , in conjunction with the Office of Communication , Office of Emergency Management , and IT-GIS , developed an all-in-one dashboard to display daily updates to Arlington-specific coronavirus data . Using in-house GIS software , the dashboard incorporates data such as active case locations , deaths , hospitalizations , and ventilators in use into a dynamic format .
By showcasing data using bold statistics , graphs , and an interactive web map , the dashboard aims to provide residents with an easy-touse platform for visualizing the current and historic status of Covid-19 cases in Arlington . By developing user-friendly dashboards as this , Arlington continues to transform data into accessible products that leverage new technology to provide useful information to the public .
