City of Arlington ’ s Office of Communication Wins 2020 Lone Star Regional Emmy
The City of Arlington ‘ s Office of Communication was honored to receive a Lone Star Regional Emmy for the FY2020 Operating Budget Breakdown video , taking the top prize in the Politics / Government - Program / Special / Feature / Segment category . The video , which had more than 500,000 views online , used a trip to the grocery store to explain how the City creates its operating budget .
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences ’ Texas Chapter awards Lone Star Emmys annually to the top broadcast productions across the state . Last year ’ s awards were presented virtually on December 5th to stop the spread of coronavirus .
