Jake. He probably could have
benefited from having a Primary Care
Provider (PCP) that he could call
when he got sick. A PCP would have
had access to Jake’s medical history
and likely known that Jake has an
SCI. The on-call nurse didn’t have
Jake’s medical history.
Dan’s Lesson
