We only had one award’ s ceremony remaining in the UK, a little different to the typical awards we enter, this time we entered the MiPeach into the Made for Mums Toy Awards. The MiPeach battled against some top competitors for the title of Best role play / Interaction toy and took home a very respectable third place.
Some may argue that the most impressive award of the final quarter was saved until the end of the year, with an awards ceremony that was brought to our attention during the Queens Award afternoon tea party back in August. The Newspaper Beds on Sunday announced they would be holding an awards ceremony which would encompass all companies registered within Bedfordshire. With a variety of categories to determine the winners, Business of the year was the undoubted star prize, and the competition was fierce. Business of the year would be a category judged on sales, community spirit and brand power. Thomas Bateman and Matthew Newton joined the rest of Bedfordshire’ s
fi nest at an exclusive gala event at the Bedfordshire Corn Exchange.
As the curtain call for the awards approached, and with the Business of the year category still to be concluded, we were delighted to win the main award, with Thom and Matt accepting the honour on behalf of everyone at iCandy.
The Bedfordshire award is an achievement shared by everyone within the brand, as we all contribute to making iCandy the great company it is today. The brand is growing every year, no doubt those who have been to the consumer shows can see the standout nature of our stands, the footfall they bring, and the effective marketing which come together to ensure that we can present a valid argument to be considered the biggest pushchair brand.
Our awards success in 2016 will be challenging to improve upon, however we move into 2017 with even more exciting products such as the MiChair and the Orange pushchair to add to our impressive product roster, as we hope to keep moving forwards and dominate these awards.
