Purpose Magazine Edition 2 | Page 3

PURPOSE MAGAZINE EDITORS Note W hilst June is youth month in South Africa it is also associated with winter. The very discomfort of the cold weather presents an opportunity for many things. Top of mind is more time spent at home in front of the heaters which allows for quality time with your loved ones. This time also creates moments of pondering deeper as each person runs to his/her nest. This of course depends on one’s choice, but the truth is that the lesser time spent on the road, is the beauty of winter. It tends to shift the focus inward as opposed to “wanderings” and “hooking up” with a whole lot of people that do not add value to your personal growth. Inside the second issue of Purpose are heartwarming, encouraging and challenging real life stories. This issue is full of guidance on matters that relate walking in your purpose. The one that stands out for me is the DEBT trap article that speaks to what many children of God find themselves in. The big question is; can an individual “beat” the institutionalised money trap that the system of the world has so successfully engineered? It is yours to think deep about, balancing it with “waiting upon God” and the whole issue of “appetite” that exists in human nature. I love nice things, it is energy on its own, however way you want to look at it! There is of course also a focus on the young people in line with the youth month, so don’t miss out. Purpose has YOU inside, and thus a relevant read. 03 TWO THOUSAND AND FIFTEEN
