Awareness
What is enlightenment? So many of us are on that path of questioning. We are looking for the energy of our origin. Where does it come from you. Its not holding onto any idea that you cant see anything else. Its a freedom that is not able to be explained. Its a power that come in.
Its not the power that you feel going into battle. That is the problem with our world. There always has to be a battle. A strife. Its a power the brings you such peace it is inescapable and pulls you to a place where there is nothing but peace. Its also a choice. When I see these things over and over where people are speaking of miraculous things happening to them or other people. It is that a choice. Its YOU.
Its a CHOICE.
Let go of the victim mentality. Find the peace inside. Christianity speaks of it as ACCEPTING
Christ into your heart.
A CHOICE.
Hindus speak of ACCEPTING the self as one. Pagans talk about the choice of listening to ancestors and following those ways. Its all a choice. Life was a choice. Accept your choice and let go of the victim. Enlightenment is saying You dont Own me. I am young, I am free, and I am living my life by my rules. Its not about not having any rules its about your own personal rules.
Someone was asking me the other day when does magic go sour'? When does life get tough. The answer is simple. When we forget the first time we touched our inner power.
That first moment of enlightenment. That first match being lit in our soul. This time of year we look to our ancestors to remind us the teachings of old. To look into the darkness and see that candle glowing. To look inward and see that power growing inside your mind body and soul. Never forget that first day, that first moment you discovered the magic. This will be the thing that will help you dictate your path. IF it makes you feel anything besides the power that came from that first moment you believed.
The heart knows the answers. When we have had those instances where we just act with full trust, that is when we are fulfilling out story. When we question, act out of fear, or duty then you are operating from a lower vibration of life. Practice what you know, learn so you can grow.
Accidental hypocrisy happens when say you are something but then have no foundation in which to practice. We all have gifts, we all have abilities. It is only when we leave these gifts untrained, un nurtured. Its not about going to school, that is if you feel it necessary. Study and learn. That's the difference between floating through life stating you are present and actually being present.
I really thought after 2012, the talk of us becoming light beings, or this change was finally at rest. At any point you can change. You can grow. You can reach enlightenment. To think however, that it is happening to people without their consent. I.E. hearing people say: There are people waking up and they are so lost and confused.
That is the implication that God is standing up in the skies forcing people to do something that has always been a choice. Does that really make sense? That you are the result of a prophecy (that most people have not taken the time to read), where you will be forced into doing something.
This among all scripture law (No matter what religious belief you have), is in complete opposition to what has been said and told since the beginning of time. Enlightenment is a choice, is a aim. Not something that you wake up with one day not knowing what to do with. Also in my faith, you are already enlightened, you just have to bring your awareness to it.
Thought is a byproduct of the vibration you are on, a symptom. You are where you think you are. The end goal is not the cease of thought, but to have dominion over thought. Let your thoughts be a byproduct of your heart. If your heart leads, the mind will be subdued.
While the mind is subdued, the thought that occurs here is a breadcrumb in a trail of breadcrumbs to your answer. This does not mean that the thought must be pleasant. The heart speaks only in your language. You have developed its rhetoric and symbology, and you, in this stillness, are left to decode this self-constructed puzzle.
Why this thought? Why am I thinking this? What does this mean to me? This thought burdens me. What in me is this stirring? This thought brings me joy. What in me reveals this joy? Why?
We must return to the art of asking simple questions. The questions that have nothing to do with the outcome of our routines and momentary doings. In these questions we find our true nature expressed in our current state of being, the life we are living, and the story that is unfolding.
You are not your thoughts. Your thoughts are merely what you brought to your awareness. Why are you aware of these and not other thoughts?
