time looking yourself in the mirror… Are you truly showing up in each little moment being the best, most authentic version of yourself?
Somehow, deep down, we started to believe we were not enough. We lost the ideal that we had the power. We had the power to create what we see in front of us now; we have the power to change it from within.
Every time a businessman gained an economic foothold through corrupt means it was because he feared the right way wasn’t enough. Every time a crime was committed, it was due to the offender trying to fill a hole that seemed empty within.
Every time you were not authentic with family or friends it may have been because you felt you had to be something you are not, fearing a lack of love and acceptance, leading to a struggle, slowly changing who you are, moment by moment until what is true inside has been all but forgotten. These are the obstacle we have perceived, and these are the obstacles that culminate into a nation of pain and anger. These are the wolves we have created.
So take that time today to focus only on your journey. Locate the first time in your life that you began being inauthentic. Identify the first time you felt that you were not enough. Identify the first time you turned over your keys to personal freedom to someone else. You will begin to realize that there is no fight at all, just a return to what is genuine inside of you.
Are you truly showing up, as the authentic you? This is how a revolution is won—by first realizing you have been revolting against yourself all along. Stop feeding the wolves.
