Declaration of Self Independance
Excerpt rom Rob Wrights new book: We Hold These Truths to be Self Evident... Where is the Self in Government?
When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for a person to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another in order to seek the light within that has been encumbered by the mounting storm of misguided groupthink that inhibits the empowerment of individuality and its proper place to flourish, separate from, but connected fruitfully to the whole, the person must proclaim independence from such infringements they have allowed to infiltrate their own well being.
For such independence to be manifest, each person must hold only themselves accountable to self evaluation while accepting the onus of having bequeathed one’s independence to an external source from the onset. Once ownership of the truth that we have chosen to give away our empowerment, we may then reclaim that which is solely ours and see a truly cohesive union of individuals, all expressing uniquely and harmoniously, free from past oppression and making impossible the reemergence of it in the future.
We hold that these truths are evident within the self, that all men are created equal, and all have been endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights springing forth from within, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness—to secure these rights, we look not to a government instituted by other men, deriving its power from external means of propriety, but to one of self-governance by which all men seek and abide by the power within.
Whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the individual to alter or abolish it by instituting a new way of seeing the ordinance and applications of natural law to oneself based upon the foundation of principles that lie within one’s own heart, organizing the self in such form that no group of men or individual can impede upon their safety and happiness.
When an organization of officials seek to enumerate abstract individualities into finite, redundant laws, it has overstepped its purpose and usefulness, thus standing in direct opposition of the freedom of all separate individuals in vain attempt to monitor the collective, nudging them into a preconceived, generic structure of false precepts.
This has resulted in an inevitable long train of abuses and usurpations either unintended or malicious, whereby whatever the motive, the free person is transgressed and hindered. It is our right as an individual to shrug off such government and provide ourselves as the guards of our own security.
For this proclamation of freedom from such an environment, we must actualize certain truths from within ourselves and our own perceptions of the status of our physical surroundings, in that we only see what we have chosen to see, and allow only the taking of power what we have been willing to forgo. These transgressions we see in our world structure come only from the broken connection to our self, made manifest into our own fears ruling over us. This must be accepted foremost; otherwise these and proceeding claims will fall short of providing such freedom and reclamation of personal pursuits.
I acknowledge that in order for this new self-governance, I, the individual of the whole, must pursue only what lies within my own heart, with compassion and love toward others that are self-ruling participants of a land.
In that, I break away from the constraints of fear mongering and doomsday exploitations, seeking the truest state of freedom that is provided by God whether or not a federal, state, or local government exemplifies these truths.
I will fear no imposition by any group of legislators, judges, administrations, or enforcements of which, knowing that I alone can read the text of my own story, and no amount of doubt-provocation or externalized seeking of power can accumulate around me with enough force to debase the undeniable truth residing within.
I will be guided and guarded by these truths and by no other man’s persuasive concept of them, accepting they might be their own truths and forgiving their right to bear such ideals, for it is of no consequence to myself.
I claim independence for my own self, acting in accordance to the divine within, letting groupthink and pressures not deter me from my own pursuit of happiness, for my story is not tied to political party or the perceived struggle of a populous, instead tethered only with God and the harmonic universe abounding, wherein my true nature and freedom of spirit thrives and echoes to all generations, eternally.
Do as you will governmental bodies; it surely has no consequence to my being. Your only power has been derived by the mass misconception that you, by highest authority, hold the power and duty to allocate rights to the people. This is a wild distortion of the drafts constructed by our forefathers.
I acknowledge only, as originally intended, those rights inherent and complete within my soul and have no need for an external body to decide which right or rights to allow, no matter social trends or exaggerated illnesses of society.
I am not reflection of society, but society shall be a reflection of what I perceive of it. The change is within. The peace is within. The power is within, and I allow no other person, upon a throne, behind a podium, or in a closed-door negotiation to dictate whereby I draw my own conclusions or exact my pursuit of happiness.
I disregard the prospect and notion of impending tyranny, for I know that even threat or incarceration can not trap or squelch the spirit. The spirit cannot be defeated, and in the spirit is where I reside in a place without border, without limitation, without corruption. Rather it is a place abundant with love, hope, and all the security any being requires in which to properly navigate one’s journey.
Understanding that if all avow to righteous self-governance derived through peaceable, silent self-work and reflection, all will be a shining example of freedom and the result of such will be the peaceful dissolution of the contrived bonds that have disillusioned a free people.
Only by these means will arrive a sustaining union of peace that covers the land, providing this and all future generations with security and, without infringement or imposition, a way of life that will connect us with greater recognition of our fine nation and its worth.
