RYAN & STEPHANIE BURKS HELPING TO BUILD A BETTER COMMUNITY
Ryan and Stephanie Burks have always appreciated the companionship of a family dog . Since 1992 , when their family protector , Shabazz , a Chow Chow came into their lives , they have enjoyed the light that only a canine can bring to a family . During the height of the pandemic , a “ Twoodle ,” part Golden Doodle and part Schnauzer Doodle , came to their home to make the long days pass quickly . Appropriately named Sassy Nola , she is adorably beautiful , playful , and smart as a whip ! She graduated from twelve weeks of training before she came to their home , so she arrived knowing many commands and eager to show off her skills for a reward of Cheerios .

The Burks family proudly owns RYCARS Construction , LLC , a commercial mercial roofing general contracting business with a client base that includes healthcare , institutional , educational , and military industries including the lower deck and lighting in the Superdome ! Who Dat ! Their literally home-grown business began in their home in Destrehan in 2002 and now has offices in Atlanta and Austin . They are proud to have community service initiatives in New Orleans and generously give back to the communities which they operate . Their employees , family members and friends participate ongoing volunteer relationships with Second Harvest Food Bank providing support to 23 parishes , as well as Inn shelter that provides three meals free of charge to anyone that hungry boards such as
