Logan is taking a jab on us and he admits that the first season was made for the family development and to show all of the char- acters on a screen. When writing the scenario for the second season, Logan was having a lot of fun because he could play with those relationships between the characters in many ways. The reviews on other sites are also very positive. The reviews on British website uk.ign.com says: The wonderful restraint and style that Penny Dreadful displayed with its story- telling this year led to a grand, layering effect for the viewer. And, in a rare move, each new element that was presented became the most interesting part of the series. From Malcolm’s slaughter of vampires to Victor’s creation of Proteus (and brutal reveal of Cali- ban), to Vanessa’s Satan- ic possession - they each worked to build the show into a larger creation, ex- panding the Victorian hor- ror tapestry. In fact, it got to the point where I didn’t want to readily return to the vampire hunt because I was so invested in Calib- an. And then I didn’t want to go back to Caliban just yet because I was so enrap- tured with Vanessa’s battle for her soul. This TV show deserves a big plus for a unique soundtrack. Music in films and TV shows can always add the right atmosphere to the story and in this tv show they did a great job. Soundtrack is thematical and it is similar to goth- ic music wth some music played on a piano. The composer of this OST is Abel Korzeniowski. Penny Dreadful have won Critics Choice Award in a category: Most Exciting New Series 2014. This TV show has found its fans on every social media and it promotes its activ- ity everywhere it can. You can find extravagant and uncensored scenes in this show. The scenario is writ- ten  in a vulgar language - after all, this whole thing shows us a picture of the twisted and dark world of the Victorian era in which this story takes place. 81
