The most talked about third-party accessory for the PS Vita has to be the L2/R2 Button Grip Cover. If like me you've never become adept at using the PS Vita's rear touch pad, this product answers your prayers. Want to experience PS4 remote play on you Vita without the added hassle of guess work while attempting to hit the correct rear pad position? Look no further. For the casual gamer or hardcore gamer like me this product is a saviour.

Upon first glance the L2/R2 Button Grip Cover does feel rather light and flimsy and makes you wonder how this new chunk of black plastic is going to look against your gleaming white imported Vita. Fitting the grip onto the handheld is easy; it's just a case of learning the correct angle and then it just snaps into place. It's a snug and compact fit, and feels very comfortable resting in the palms of your hands. How the device actually works is very clever and simple. On the back of the grip is a left and right sensor pad. When either the L2 or R2 triggers are pushed it operates the sensors to press the rear of the Vita's touchpad. The triggers themselves are extremely responsive and make PS4 remote play a joy. The grips fit like a glove, so good that I’ve yet to take mine off, even when I’m playing Vita games. With the design of the grips not interfering with the memory card, charge socket or headphone jack, there really is little need to revert back.
