French indie studio The Game Bakers have pulled back the curtain on Furi, their upcoming combat game slated for release on PlayStation 4. Furi is a game about the tension of one-on-one fights against deadly adversaries. It’s a hack-and-slash with a unique mix of fast-paced sword fighting and dual-stick shooting. The combat gameplay
The combat is designed with Japanese games in mind — ultra fast-paced and responsive. Your character moves as soon as you send an input. Skills and reflexes are required to dodge and parry the enemies’ attacks. From an independent game studio founded by veterans of Ubisoft and other AAA companies, Furi has our attention. Expect a release in 2016.
Drive! Drive! Drive! is a game about strategy where you must race and manage multiple tracks at the same time. To mix things up it's set across different galaxies and multiple gravities too. Drive! Drive! Drive! is brought to you by Different Cloth and published by Choice Provisions. A racer that sounds crazy and utterly brilliant at the same time. Drive! Drive! Drive! comes to both PS4 and Vita.
Among the Sleep is a first person horror adventure where you play as a two-year-old. You’re vulnerable, scared, and trying to make sense of the world. It explores horror through atmosphere and exploration, not with scares and combat systems. The game comes to PlayStation 4 on December 10th. Among the Sleep definitely looks like one creepy Christmas release to keep on that gaming radar.
SteamWorld Heist is a game about space adventures and strategic shootouts. The game is developed by Swedish studio Image & Form (who also made SteamWorld Dig and Anthill). You play as Captain Piper and recruit a team of rag-tag robots to explore and scavenge the remains of a destroyed world. Board enemy spaceships and command your crew in a unique variety of turn-based combat, where the outcome is determined purely by your own skills. SteamWorld Heist is coming to PS4 and PS Vita Spring 2016.
