1. Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts announced
in July its debut in Mexico, assuming
operation of The Resort at Pedregal and
rebranding the hotel as Waldorf Astoria los
cabos Pedregal. The luxury retreat is set on
24 acres of dramatic mountains and pristine
beaches and is primed to welcome guests
beginning Q4 2019.
2. To celebrate lemI groUP’s 30th
anniversary, they partnered with Jean-Guy
de Gabriac of tip touch International to
develop a new massage treatment called
Ocean Dream Massage. Designed to be
performed on LEMI’s Spa Dreams table, the
massage is inspired by the flow of waves and
is combined with the peaceful ebb and flow
of the water beneath.

3. color up therapeutics launched a Cannabis
Master Program for the Spa Professional in
June 2019. This first-of-its-kind online course
for massage therapists and estheticians is
more than 15 years in the making. Those
who successfully complete the program will
receive a certification from Color Up
Therapeutics as a Cannabis Master.
