Economics: South Korea has also recently surpassed the U.S. and European Union to become Vietnam's second largest trade partner, after China.

Culture: On the music scene, satirical duo The Pirates face prosecution for their politically and socially charged music, including a documentary showing student protests and other activist messages.

Politics: A Ballistic missile aimed at the Saudi Holy city, Makkah, was stopped by the Saudi Air Defense Forces. The Houthis have been declared responsible by the Saudi officials, for this failed attack just before one of the biggest events of the year, the Hajj.

Economy: Saudi Arabia’s plan for its future, vision 2030, indicates that it wants to reduce its dependency on oil.
