ISPA FOUNDATION
AFTER A YEAR FULL OF TRIALS AND TRIUMPHS , most notably marked by the continued rebound in the spa industry ’ s key performance metrics , 2022 is nearing an end and we are slowly growing accustomed to life on this side of what has been a rollercoaster since early 2020 . We are so grateful for those who have supported the spa industry ’ s recovery and the ISPA Foundation ongoing research to track this encouraging bounce back from the pandemic .
Each and every gift from ISPA members , regardless of size or magnitude , has helped sustain the essential work of the ISPA Foundation through what has been an incredibly encouraging year . To build on this amazing momentum , we have an exciting opportunity for the ISPA Family to get involved this holiday season , a time when charitable giving ( and gift shopping ) reaches its peak .
During this season of giving , we are hosting our second online Virtual Holiday Auction next month from November 14-18 through the Handbid Mobile app that ISPA members have used for previous ISPA Auctions . The Virtual Holiday Auction will include some very attractive items : Apple products , a multitude of skincare products , fashion accessories , fitness items and gift backets filled with local artisan goods and beverage items . Getaway packages will also be included for those looking for a complete trip to take with friends or family .
Though we have already received numerous amazing donations , we will continue to accept new donations from the ISPA community all the way up until the day bidding begins . All proceeds from the Virtual Holiday Auction will go directly to funding the ISPA Foundation ’ s research , including the ISPA U . S . Spa Industry Study and the Consumer Snapshot Initiative .
