1 . This year , a new residential project debuts at Rancho La Puerta with adobe houses , a vineyard and an experience defined by the remoteness of the lush surrounding 800-acre landscape . Returning guests had the first right to purchase the land near Rancho La Puerta , further expanding the community started by Szekely over 80 years ago .
2 . In early July , ESPA and The Ritz-Carlton announced the launch of a new , innovative wellness concept called “ Meaningful Wellness Journeys .” The concept provides tailor-made journeys designed for optimum wellness , giving each guest the emotional and physical strength to adapt and cope with the stresses and strains of everyday life . The journeys center around three key wellness pillars : mind , body and skin .

3 . Four Seasons Minneapolis Director of Spa and Wellness LeAnne Latham highlighted the hotel ’ s new Riva Terrace on Minneapolis FOX 9 , where yoga , mimosas or private events can be enjoyed with a nearly 360-degree view of the city .
4 . LightStim launched its latest innovation in LED light therapy in June . The new LightStim Elipsa seamlessly integrates with BeautyHealth ’ s next generation HydraFacial system , Syndeo , and elevates the provider experience and treatment results . Elipsa is available for retail and professional use in the U . S . and will eventually roll out internationally in conjunction with Syndeo .

5 . In August , the first U . S . location of a Biologique Recherche Ambassade opened in Los Angeles , providing a home for hyper-customized scalp , face and body treatments from the full 130-item product range . Biologique Recherche chose LEMI Group ’ s Portofino tables along with stools and carts customized with their signature brand colors .
6 . Gurney ’ s Seawater Spa in Montauk , New York , recently unveiled a new Himalayan salt room , featuring a massive Himalayan salt wall and an Atlas Flex Block Salt Table , both from ISPA member Himalayan Source . Enriching the spa ’ s Salt Stone Therapy Massage treatment and adding aesthetic and healing value for guests , the salt room is part of Gurney ’ s recently completed $ 20 million renovation .
