IN PART ONE OF PULSE ’ S SERIES ON REVENUE MANAGEMENT IN THE SPA INDUSTRY , we detailed the basic tenets of revenue management and explored how the airline and hotel industries had developed the blueprint for effectively executing revenue management strategies . In part two , we highlighted the ways in which particular strategies — such as dynamic availability — might be used in spas to drive profits as the industry continues its recovery from the worst economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic .
For the final entry in the series , Pulse spoke with industry leaders who have experience practicing revenue management in spas and plenty to say about its potential benefits for spa leaders looking to operate their businesses more efficiently and add to the bottom line in the process .
