ON HIS TRANSITION TO SPA: “i began my career as
a lifeguard at four Seasons Santa Barbara, eventually
becoming the pool supervisor and then
recreation manager for the resort. the hotel
then decided to add a small spa in my
department. after opening that first spa,
i loved the mind-body nature of the offering
and the fact that i was spending my career
learning how to take care of people.”
