1 . Natura Bisse celebrated National Aesthetician ’ s Day by hosting an exclusive skincare session . Their skincare tutorial “ Becoming a Skincare Pro ” shared what products their aestheticians can ’ t live without . They also curated a Pro Kit consisting of an assortment of products and tools that are available for shipment .
2 . Virox Technologies launched a free online tool that creates customized cleaning and disinfecting protocols tailored to the individual needs of professional beauty facilities across America , with the goal of helping keep spas and salons safe for their employees and clients . PULSE just learned of the passing of spa pioneer Sheila Cluff . A former ISPA Board Member and ISPA Visionary Award winner , Sheila recently passed away at the age of 84 . Among her countless contributions to the spa industry , she pioneered the concept of the modern destination spa and helped popularize aerobics . The longtime owner of the destination spa , The Oaks at Ojai , Cluff started out as a fitness instructor before buying the spa and becoming the owner . She chronicled her life in her autobiography Living Your Dream : The Inspiring Story of Sheila Cluff . In it , she shares the story of how she came to own the spa and the risk she took to make her dream come true . n
