Earlier this year , Forbes featured Accor ’ s ongoing Health to Wealth series on why wellbeing should be at the heart of hospitality and business .“ Accor is seeking to drive transformational change , supporting a shift toward the emergence of a wellbeing economy , with an earnest desire to help people , businesses and communities achieve their priorities for alignment and prosperity ,” says Emlyn Brown , global vice president of wellbeing at Accor . “ The Health to Wealth white paper demonstrates that wellbeing must be recognized as an imperative for all if we are to maintain the equilibrium of our lives , our society and our planet .”
2 . Nancy Griffin , principal of Contento Marketing and host of the Glowing Older podcast , announced the launch of # ExposeAgeism , a movement to create awareness about ageism in the spa , wellness and beauty industries . Since the movement ’ s introduction , a dozen companies have pledged to promote positive aging . Efforts include representation of older adults in diversity , equity and inclusion ( DEI ) programs and eliminating the phrase “ anti-aging ” in product descriptions and marketing by 2025 .
3 . Canyon Ranch ’ s CEO Jeff Kuster hosted “ An Evening with Phil ” at Canyon Ranch Tucson in early April . The titular “ Phil ” is Phil Rosenthal — creator , writer and executive producer of the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond and host of Netflix ’ s gourmand series Somebody Feed Phil .“ It was an experience that fits perfectly with Canyon Ranch ’ s purpose to inspire people to live a well way of life ,” Kuster posted on social media .“ Phil shared stories about food , travel , people and the power of appreciating the experiences of others . There was a lot of laughter and a few ‘ a-ha ’ insights about life , too .”

Leading up to the 2023 ISPA Conference , We Work Well ’ s Monica Helmstetter posted on social media about an annual pre-Conference hike to benefit charity . # SpasPushingLimits planned a Red Rock Canyon trail hike , with registration proceeds benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society . n
