he February Snapshot Survey inquired about technology in the workplace, including use of mobile devices
and industry software. In it, results showed that over half (54 percent) of all spa respondents have a formal
guest policy for technology usage. This number is low compared to the 81 percent of spa respondents who
have a formal employee technology policy.
The chart below shows the statistics on implementing formal guest policies for technology usage answered by
day spas, resort/hotel spas and all spas.
