ISPA MEMBER TIP! 14. MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR SPACE Many spas struggle with limited space for retail and ours is no exception. With only 400-square-feet, we try to utilize every available space without visually overwhelming guests. Clothing has become our number-one retail category and we needed more space for it! Before the holidays, we brainstormed ways to better use a large area that had three movable cabinets. These cabinets generated five percent of our revenue but took up 15 percent of our space. We moved out the center cabinet and re- worked the space using tension auto-poles, a clothing pole and shelves. All these fixtures are held together by tension and fasteners— super easy to put together and very easy to change or move.
