OPEN FOR BUSINESS Danielle Doran Andrea Fisher Patrick Huey BRILLIANT IDEA Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, Mexico, has partnered with professional obstacle racer Michael Mark to develop a custom designed obstacle course race (ocR) at The Ranch. The course features obstacles like mud pits, monkey bars, walls and cargo nets, among others. To celebrate the course’s official opening, Rancho La Puerta hosted a special obstacle course race week Feb. 3-9. Marriott International has partnered with S’well, the eco- friendly water bottle brand, to provide a way for guests to remain hydrated on their travels. S’well’s aluminum bottles will be available in all Element Hotel rooms for guests to purchase during their stay, forgoing traditional plastic water bottles. NEW ON THE MENU 1. The Spa at The Elms Hotel in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, has added a Thermal Massage and Herbal Thai Massage to its menu of offerings, which are the first and only ones of their kind in the Kansas city region. The Spa at The Elms Hotel has also been selected to be the market’s exclusive vendor of Sothys. 2.
