“As an entrepreneur your heart, mind

that you created,” she enthuses. “It’s
not a nine-to-five job. Your work begins
when you open your eyes and ends
when you to sleep, and there is no room
for procrastination. It’s always moving
ahead with full force.”
Even though she is crazy busy,
Solares is continually inspired by her
product and the need to solve a
problem.
“I get inspired by voids that need to
be fulfilled,” she says. “Recently I
discovered my jewelry can be used for
more than essential oils. I was traveling
without my daughter to the 2017 ISPA
Conference & Expo, so I made an
Instagram video about adding her
perfume to my Serina And Company
necklace. Her aroma would be my
therapy while away from her. I was
sharing this idea to other vendors and
attendees and many hearts were
touched. I love the idea that my work
can connect people in new and

about isPa Membership
1.
How long has your company been an isPa member and what made you
join isPa? I started with ISPA in 2015. My sister has been an esthetician
with Burke Williams for a couple of decades now and she told me about the
ISPA conference & Expo. I did research, talked to ISPA staff members and it
was the perfect fit for the AromaTherapy jewelry line.
2.
in what way has your involvement with isPa helped your company
grow? My company would not have grown to the spa level if it wasn’t
for ISPA. yes, initially it is a significant investment for a new business to jump
right in, but the return on investment is there. I should also mention the
rewards, contacts, friendships, education, experience and knowledge
received from my involvement with ISPA. It has been priceless!
WHat scENts? Ever wonder what
essential oils are best for certain moods

Which isPa resource or tools do you find most helpful for your
business? The contact list that is sent out in excel with the attendees
and vendors is a great tool because collecting everyone’s business card isn’t
realistic in those three days of conference. When I come across someone’s
name that I met, the list assures me that we can stay in touch.
